Tour Overview The Konavle Valley is the agricultural hinterland of Cavtat — a landscape of vineyards, olive groves, and small villages that has supplied Dubrovnik with food and wine since the Middle Ages. This tour takes guests into that landscape with tastings at local producers, lunch at a konoba serving traditional Konavle cuisine, and a guide who knows the valley well enough to take you off the tourist circuit entirely. Tastings typically include Malvasija (the indigenous white grape), Plavac Mali, and local olive oils and rakija. The konoba lunch features traditional dishes — lamb peka, handmade pasta with truffles, homemade breads, and seasonal produce sourced within the valley.
